Lyon

While in Lyon we went to an orchestra concert for one of the girls in the youth group. They were really good.

Oh, the Electric Slide. We had so much fun.

This a column from the ruins. It is amazing that it lasted this long.

These are genuine Roman ruins. I couldn't believe it when they let us go in and walk around.

This is a pretty building high on a hill as seen from a square in Lyon.

Grenoble

This is a picture of the awsome staff at the youth camp in Grenoble.

This was pretty much the most fun I'v ever had cleaning paint rollers. This poor tree is probably dead by now.

It looks like it's the middle of the night but really were walking in clouds. That is the team snowshoeing in the Alps.

This is a beautiful French sunset. I remember telling my dad to hurry and get outside to get the shot. We ran for a hundred yards to get close enough.

This is the sight I woke up to every morning. The Alps sure are beautiful.

England

This is me in a phone booth. It was really cool to actually be in one of these.

This is obviously a double Decker bus. This is an outdated version that was taken off the streets for safety reasons.

This is a picture of Jeff and me in front of the Tower Bridge. This is another common misconception, this is the Tower Bridge not the London Bridge.

This is the tower in which Big Ben sits. This is probably the most famous monument in England and as most people don't know Big Ben is the bell not the tower.

This is the London Eye. It's basically a giant Ferris wheel that takes an hour to go all the way around. This wheel made a cameo appearance in the Fantastic Four two.

Normandy

This is the exact place I sat when I found out that Heath Ledger had died. So sad.

This is a genuine German bunker. I looked inside and it was filled with about five or six inches of water.

This on one of the beaches in Normandy. They were so beautiful.

This is a site many Americans are familiar with. What I found though when I got here is that this is American soil. When you stand here you are home.

Mont Saint Michel is one of the coolest places on earth. It feels like you are walking into a book. This is a monastery and the monks still live here.

Paris

Paris is the city of lights. This picture was taken while on top of the Tour Eiffel.

This is the opera house. Victor Hugo based his story here, The Phantom of the Opera.

This is the Mona Lisa, all twelve inches of it.

Ah, the Metro, it is super convenient but super dirty. You see everyone here.

Pomme de Pain is pretty much the best restaurant in the world. I wish it was in America.
